RAYNE, LA - On Saturday July 31, 2010, in Rayne, La., at the Rayne Civic Center, you will have the opportunity to witness something great at "Saturday Night Fights."
First off, "Rock Hard Mighty" Mason Menard (11-1-9 KOs) will be in his first-ever 10-round fight. At this time, it is a good possibility that he will be fighting for the American Lightweight title. I have been on the phone with the commission from Las Vegas, NV and we are still yet to reach an agreement, but I am very near positive it will happen.
Also on the card will be "Blazin' an Amazin' Todd Manuel, who boasts a 3-0 record at the age of 17. Lafayette, LA's Bailey Bobbitt (2-0, 1 KO) will be back in action as well as Baton Rouge's Rickey Kinney (5-2, 3 KOs), who hails from nearby Baton Rouge, LA. Chalmette, LA's "Southern Pride Fighter" Gary Bergeron (11-5, 6 KOs) returns in grand fashion. Also, Bobby "The Prodigy" Bryant (4-0, 3 KOs).
For the first time on a card promoted by Boxncar Promotions, we will have a female fight. Houston's Ashley Alvarado from Houston, Tx. will be fighting in her pro debut, along with the long-awaited professional debut of Montique "Gunner" Hammond, from Greenville, MS.
There is also a possibility of Lafayette's Brad "Buzy Bee" Solomon (11-0, 4 KOs) fighting on the card.
This is a Saturday night show, and I am very confident being almost 85 days out we will fascinate everyone in attendance.
