Lafayette, LA's Jessie Fletcher, won the 80-pound, 10-11-year-old age group at the Title National Championship Tournament in Ripley, TN on June 5. A decorated amateur boxer, Fletcher defeated Memphian Eugene Collins by RSC in the second round. Fletcher only started boxing in January of 2009, but has won four championships in his age group. Boxing Competition In Georgia Games Begins July 18 at Doraville Arena

DORAVILLE, GA - The 2009 Georgia Games Championships in boxing are scheduled for July 18-19 at the Doraville Arena.
Weigh-in begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 18. The start of Saturday's competition has yet to be announced, but Sunday's bouts begin at 2 p.m. Entry fee is $15 per competitor. An additional $5 fee is required for out-of-state residents.

HOLLY SPRINGS, MS - The Title National Championships wrapped up Friday (July 3) at the Mult-Purpose Complex with championships crowned. Boxers came from 20 states and Canada.

HOLLY SPRINGS, MS - Twenty-eight champions were crowned on Thursday night (July 2) on the second day of the Title National Championships at the Holly Springs Multi-Purpose Center.
The remainder of the championships are scheduled for today (July 3) as the tournament wraps up.

Bryant Starts Off On Good Foot In Title National Championships Bout

HOLLY SPRINGS, MS - As expected, decorated amateur boxer Bobby Bryant dominated his opponent on Wednesday (July 1) in the opening night of the Title National Championships at the Holly Springs Multi-Purpose Center.
Bryant, the two-time Title National Champion at 132 and 141 pounds, defeated Arkansas' Dakota Dawson 3-0 in the 154-pound opening match. A left hook to the body from Bryant put Dawson on the mat in the second round. Bryant advanced to meet Missouri's Victor Gathright, who out-pointed Tennessee's Ladarius Miller.
LaRose, Bayouside Boxing Clubs Team Up To Host Saturday, June 27 Show

CUT OFF, LA - LaRose Boxing Cub and Golden Meadow's Bayouside Boxing Club team up to host an amateur boxing show on Saturday, June 27 at the Cut Off Youth Center.
Action begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Ringside tables are $200.
Expected to attend include teams from Panama City, FL, Mobile, AL, Gulfport, MS and teams from Texas.
