From Staff Reports
KANSAS CITY, MO - One week after winning the National Junior Golden Gloves tournament at Mesquite, NV, Lafayette, LA 11-year-old Jody "Soldier Ant" Gauthier simply followed up that championship by going out and winning another big tournament. Competing in the 60-pound division, Gauthier won the Ringside World Championship on Aug. 8. Gauthier won a unanimous decision over Aldan Campos, of Edinburg, TX. It was the fourth national title for Gauthier in as many weeks.
Gauthier said the reason for his success was simple.
